361J

In Woodlands, a family of three worked with Lite Design Collaborative to transform their 1,905 square foot jumbo HDB flat into a study of openness and light. A design that later earned a Bronze Award for Best Residential Design at the IDCS 2020 Design Excellence Awards.

The reconfiguration celebrates fluidity and connection, using a soft neutral palette and partial dividers to define space without confinement. A sculpted screen lends privacy to the living area, while the open dry kitchen flows naturally into the communal zone, grounded by recessed track lighting and framed by a bi-fold glass door that allows light to travel effortlessly throughout. In the master suite, a concealed walk-in wardrobe enhances the sense of calm and continuity. Every detail reflects a thoughtful balance between elegance and ease, a home crafted for comfort, clarity, and quiet sophistication.
