Attitude! incorporates Socio-Emotional Learning (SEL) fully, even adopting the five domains as
modules, to allow participants to better understand what it means and what it takes to be a better student, to be a better leader.
The programme encourages participants to take a look at their values and belief systems and understand the meaning of “choice” and making the “best” choice for themselves and the people around them.
Attitude! touches on resilience in character, that impossible is nothing, so that participants grow
stronger physically, mentally and emotionally.

BRIEF SUMMARY
Who Am I
Participants will become more aware of how they think and how they react to situations. They will gain a greater insight on what triggers these reactions and how they have a ripple effect on themselves and their environment.
What Do I Do
Upon learning what triggers their reactions in situations, their “hot buttons”, participants are then in a better position to manage these emotions and reactions more responsibly. It also allows them to become more pro-active in the choices they make, instead of blaming others on the outcomes of their decisions. They will also become more
willing to bear the consequences of their actions.
LoveThy Neighbour, Love Thy Self
Participants will get opportunities to share their thoughts and emotions with each other, facilitating a platform for trust and empathy to evolve. Through this, and shared experiences in game and activity, participants become more aware of their environment and the people who share this environment with them. They will learn that they are not alone, and the ripple effect that they cause, may have more impact than what they initially thought.
Respect and Trust
Communicating with others, learning to empathize and provide encouragement for each other allows participants to learn how to manage their relationships with others. Through challenges and games, situations of conflict can be simulated such that it forces participants to address and consider other’s feelings and thoughts, and to manage these expectastions in their stride.
I am a Responsible Decision Maker
Through having understood all the above, participants will then be able to make the necessary decisions that will benefit themselves and their team. They will feel encouraged and empowered to lead themselves and their peers, thus making the “right” choices and decisions in their lives.
