The Action Leaders programme allows participants to discover the leader in them, by putting
theory into action.
It provides a platform for youths to start from the very beginning of understanding themselves
more and what they hope to achieve, before they go on to larger roles of managing themselves,

BRIEF SUMMARY
Goal Setting!
Why are goals important? How does it help us as a team? Students learn how to set goals for both themselves and for their team. They will gain a greater understanding of the importance and how it is very relevant to any organisation.
Traits of a Leader Participants will identify both positive and negative traits of leaders that they know, understand and believe. These traits are necessary for a leader to possess. This provides the student leaders a benchmark and basis to work on throughout the programme and when they return to their roles and responsibilities in school, at home and in the community.
Understanding Yourself
Do I really know who I am? Students will be able to gain a batter understanding of their own character and their friends as well. This will help to better understand their leadership and communication styles. By understanding self and peers, it will make working together in a team slightly easier and creates a level platform of understanding between each other.
Building The Team
Learn how to work in a team. What does it take for the team to be effective? How do you manage possible conflicts that may occur? Are conflicts good or bad? At the same time, students learn how to manage each other’s expectations, roles and responsibilities.
